Management Liability Insurance
Protect the business and its decision-makers against covered management claims.
Protect what keeps your business moving
Directors, officers, managers and businesses can face claims arising from decisions, employment matters, regulatory investigations and alleged breaches of duty. Management liability insurance can help fund the defence and settlement of covered claims, protecting both company and personal assets.

Who should consider it?
This cover should be considered by private companies and their directors, officers and managers, including small and medium businesses where owners may be personally exposed.
What can it cover?
Depending on the insurer, policy and options selected, cover may include:
Employment practices liability, including selected wrongful dismissal, bullying or discrimination claims.
Directors’ and officers’ liability for covered alleged wrongful acts, misrepresentation or breach of duty.
Crime cover for selected employee or third-party fraud.
Corporate liability for covered claims alleging wrongful conduct by the company.
Statutory liability for selected defence costs, fines and penalties where legally insurable.
Representation costs for eligible government inquiries.
Legal defence costs where the underlying claim is covered.
Important considerations
Cover generally does not extend to every cyber event, employee entitlement, property damage or bodily injury claim. Some fines cannot legally be insured, including certain work health and safety fines in WA and other jurisdictions.
